ALL INCLUSIVE PROPOSAL FOR A RENTAL / SERVICE AGREEMENT
As a customer you can easily keep up to date with all the latest technology.
Our repayment structures offer you total flexibility to maximise your cash flow.
We place strong reliance on the intrinsic value of equipment financed.
There’s generally no upfront capital expenditure or outlay so our customers working capital remains untouched and can be invested into other growth areas for the business.
Rentals can be tailored to your individual needs. We can use annual escalation in line with inflation and reduce the initial rentals.
As rentals are a tax deductible operating expense, they are off balance sheet, and no capex approval is required.
You will be entitled to deduct VAT paid from VAT collected, which will result in a saving.
No deposit is required on a rental agreement.
As rentals are totally off-balance sheet – your equity, current returns on assets ratios are improved and unlike a lease do not need to be capitalized.
At the end of the rental period you can continue renting the equipment for a nominal amount per annum.
As PCE are the air-conditioning experts let us look after our own equipment. We propose a complete rental and service agreement over a 7 (seven) year contract period. The capital outlay on your 2 (two) chiller plants will be done by PCE at approximately R2,800 000 (two million eight hundred thousand rands only) to R3,000 000 (three million rands only) for the 2 (two) chillers for a monthly rental of +/- R30 000 (thirty thousand rands only) per chiller over a 7 (seven) years contract period. We suggest that your services on the plant and equipment be taken over by PCE for +/- R75 000 (seventy-five thousand rands only) per month. All breakage and maintenance on chiller is for PCE account, all equipment on floors to be serviced by PCE. Extra’s on floor for your account. Rigging and installation for your account of new chiller. As indicated above rentals are fully tax deductible as this is on rental contract. Inclusive of services all can be tax deductible. That could include your services part of the agreement.

The Challenge of Hermetic Compressors
It is relatively easy to open a semi-hermetic compressor unit and service it, swap out parts or rebuild it when necessary.
However, hermetically sealed compressors are often described as “non-rebuildable” or “disposable” because they have a welded steel shell. This is only true when it comes to remanufacturers who lack the technology and systems to open and rebuild them properly. Needless to say, PCE has these skills and we are fully competent to remanufacture hermetic as well as semi-hermetic compressors.
We can remanufacture your own compressor
Should one of your compressors be malfunctioning, consider asking us to remanufacture it. We have experience with a wide variety of hermetic, semi-hermetic, reciprocating and screw compressors.
All of the compressors we remanufacture go through a rigorous process as follows:
Examine the compressor carefully and take apart
Strip all metal parts, clean them with chemicals and inspect
Remove all worn or damaged parts and replace all gaskets and seals
Replace reed valves, piston rings, cushions, thrust-washers, valve springs, gaskets, O-rings, main bearings and terminal seals
Check dimensions of crankshaft and pistons with a micrometer
Remove, clean, test and rewind stators to original manufacturer specification
Assemble to original specification and standard
Test thoroughly – temperature, pressure, electrics, mechanicals, oil pumps
Throughout the remanufacturing process, from disassembly and cleaning through to machining and re-assembly, we use constant checks ensure the highest possible quality. Our quality-assurance programme is unmatched in the industry.
Guaranteed workmanship
As a PCE customer, you won’t be neglected once you have received your remanufactured compressor. All of our rebuilt compressors carry the same one year warranty as provided by the original manufacturer. We also offer an extended warranty should you require this.
Compressors and industrial refrigeration
A compressor used for refrigeration is essentially a pump for refrigerant gas. The mechanism for compressing refrigerant gas differs between compressors, and each has its own application. Common refrigeration compressors include Reciprocating, Scroll, Screw or Centrifugal. These can be powered by electric motors, steam turbines or gas turbines. Compressors can also be either hermetic (welded closed) or semi-hermetic (bolted together).
